Mercedes Salguero joins Mobusi as its new Business Director where her role will be to develop new business units as well as finding additional opportunities for Mobusi’s current units.


Mercedes is a well-known presence in the International performance sector and brings with her a lot of experience in the online, mobile and performance sectors. Mercedes started her career as a Marketing Assistant at Haboo. More recently she worked as Account Manager, Sales Director and Head of Publishing and Head of Operations at Spiroox. She has a bachelor degree in Advertising and Public Relations by the Complutense University of Madrid and has recently finished a Postgraduate in Leadership and Business Management at EAE Business School.

We caught up with Mercedes to talk to her about Mobusi’s future plans, what she thinks are the main trends in the mobile performance market and even what her favourite apps are at the moment.

What attracted you to start working with Mobusi?

Mobusi is a great company, it is the biggest performance agency in Spain and with a international view. Their growth over the last few years has been incredible so it was the best change for me.

What sort of opportunities do you see for Mobusi over the next year or so?

We are creating a performance department that focuses on the web, so this will be a new business.

What do you think the main trends in the mobile performance market are right now?

In my opinion gaming and apps are growing so much and the market is trending to engagement.

What’s your advice for advertisers looking to develop performance-based mobile campaigns?

Mobile marketing is one of the markets with more growth, in mobile we can target more than in other channels to impact the best audience for offers.

What’s your favorite app?

Airbnb, Skyscanner, app, (all because I travel a lot), and Talking Tom Cat because me and my nephew love it.
